ABOUT Thundersnow

Pictures Inc.

Thundersnow Pictures Inc., was established in 2020 after producer Terry Dougas brought the drama/horror feature, "Blood" to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

From there, he met his partner to-be,

Myron John Tataryn, a local up and coming filmmaker who was eager to take the next big step in his career.

After a couple months of working with Manitoba's extremely skilled crew members throughout it's many well-preserved urban film locations, Terry had found a new love for the province, it's permanent tax credit and it's exploding film industry.

With his new friend, they together created a new film production company to bring the next big stories, stars and filmmakers to the heart of North America.

Myron John Tataryn

Myron is a proud Manitoban filmmaker from East Selkirk, Manitoba, Canada, who graduated from The University of Winnipeg in 2018, with a major in Film Studies.

At the age of 21, he got his start by volunteering as an office production assistant with a local production company. From there, he began to learn the ins and outs of the film business by performing a myriad of roles, mostly though as a personal assistant to countless directors, showrunners and producers alike, as his passion to create his own content grew.

Some of the prestigious names he's worked with and learned from are multi-Oscar-winning, writer & director, Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo, Wall-E), back to back Emmy-winning director, Gail Mancuso (Modern Family, Friends, A Dog's Journey) and stunt master & director, David Leitch (John Wick Trilogy, Deadpool 2, Fast & Furious: Hobbes and Shaw) to name a few.

After learning from so many talented and creative filmmakers, he's now putting that knowledge and experience to use through Thundersnow Pictures Inc., the new production company formed in partnership with producer & film financier, Terry Dougas.

When he's not working on a project or watching movies, he loves visiting his family and friends, going for walks with his dog, and staying active by running and playing racket sports like pickle ball and badminton.

Some of Myron's favorite films are A Monster Calls, The Shawshank Redemption, Life of Pi, and Schindler's List.
